Asset Integrity Management (AIM)

Know the true condition of your assets.

AIM is EngWest's proprietary inspection and asset repair tracking management platform. Every finding captured on-site and logged, every repair tracked, every re-inspection linked — giving owners and operators complete visibility of asset conditions across their entire portfolio.

Why AIM

From a static report to a living condition record.

EngWest developed AIM — our Asset Integrity Management system — to close a long-standing gap in industrial inspection: the disconnect between the work performed in the field and the long-term record of an asset's condition.

Traditional inspections produce a static snapshot. Each year a new report is filed, and unless someone pores through every prior report, there is no practical way to track how findings have changed, measure how many defects have been repaired, or compare year-over-year deterioration. Asset condition ends up scattered across disconnected reports rather than living in a connected record.

AIM unifies the two. Every finding captured on-site is automatically catalogued, linked to its specific asset, and carried forward across every inspection cycle. The result is a continuous, queryable record of an entire portfolio — giving real visibility into repair progress, asset deterioration, and where to focus next.

What AIM delivers

Built for the field. Designed for asset owners.

AIM connects every stage of the inspection process — from findings captured on-site to the professional report in your inbox and the live dashboard clients can check any time.

Automatic Report Generation

Customizable inspection data flows directly into a professional, structured condition report — no manual re-typing, no formatting delays. Reports are delivered faster than traditional methods allowing our team to maximize our time on site, enhancing value to our clients.

Prioritised Repair Scheduling

Every finding is classified by priority, with recommended repair timelines automatically generated. Clients can review the findings to determine which require shutdown planning, what can be scheduled into the next maintenance window, and what is approaching its targeted deadline.

Live Client Dashboard

With the dashboard, clients have live access to asset condition data. Download reports, open individual inspection findings, view repair completion rates, overdue items, and year-on-year trends — all visible at a glance without waiting for the next report.

Re-Inspection Tracking

AIM tracks every finding across inspection cycles. At each re-inspection, findings are automatically compared against previous results — recording what has been repaired, what remains open, and what was not accessed. Nothing falls through the cracks.

Multi-Site Management

Whether clients operate a single terminal or multiple facilities across different sites, AIM scales to their needs. Site-level overviews and asset-by-asset breakdowns let clients manage inspection programs across their entire portfolio from a single dashboard.

Compliance and Audit Trail

AIM creates a time-stamped, documented record of every finding, every recommended action, and every repair outcome — supporting regulatory obligations, insurer requirements, port authority reporting, and asset management due diligence.

Client dashboard

Your asset condition, visible at any time.

The AIM client dashboard gives our clients a live view of open findings across their facility, repair progress against due dates, and condition trends year on year — without waiting for the next inspection report.

How it works

From mobilisation to a live condition record.

AIM is built into every EngWest inspection engagement. There is nothing to install or configure — clients simply get better, actionable information about assets, delivered more efficiently.

On-Site Inspection

EngWest engineers conduct condition inspections using our AIM mobile app, capturing findings, photographs, and condition ratings in real time. Asset area breakdowns, finding classifications, and severity ratings can be customized to each client and asset.

Report Generation

All inspection data is reviewed back in the office by our inspection team. Once the findings have been accepted, they are then integrated automatically into a professional, formatted condition report — without manual re-entry. Reports are ready faster and with complete accuracy.

Dashboard Access

With the issuing of the final inspection report, the respective findings are immediately visible in the AIM client dashboard. Filter by site, asset, priority, or repair status at any time between inspections.

Repair Scope Generation

Through the dashboard, clients are able to review current open findings and generate a simplified scope of work document suitable for presenting to a contractor to obtain repair pricing.

Re-Inspection + Closeout

Upon coordination with the client, EngWest returns to verify repairs and capture any new findings. AIM automatically links results to the previous cycle, building a continuous condition record and not a static snapshot in time.
